Reports coming from the Africa Cup of Nations says six people have been confirmed dead while several others sustains injuries during a stampede outside one of Cameroon's stadia.
In a video footage spotted by Ghana News Archive, football fanatics are seen struggling to get access to the Paul Biya stadium in Cameroon's capital Yaounde.
According to the governor of Cameroon's central region, Naseri Paul Biya, he believes there may be more casualties.
Another report also reveals that several children had lost consciousness after the incident.
Despite the unfortunate incident, the last 16 match between Comoros and the host nation Cameroon took place ending in 2-1 om favour of Cameroon.
