Samuel Adu Frimpong, often known as Medikal in the entertainment industry, is the Board Chairman of SHAXI, a Ghanaian online ride-hailing service owned by reggae dancehall superstar Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah.

Shatta Wale made the startling revelation at a media interview in Kumasi on Thursday.

Before the revelation, Shatta Wale was asked a question about his firm and denied to respond. He then turned to Medikal, who was there, and informed the presenter that the Board Chairman (Medikal) would have to answer. "Medikal is my Board Chairman".

Meanwhile, Medikal, speaking on behalf of his CEO, stated that the goal of developing that firm was not to generate money for themselves but to create jobs for their fans who had backed them all along.

Medikal's response showed that the two intend to take the SHAXI App across the world.

"I just feel like God has blessed my brother and I so much that at this point in our lives and in our career and where we’ve gotten to so far, though we are still trying to achieve a lot of things but we think that we should create something that can bring job opportunity for the people out there in Kumasi, Accra and the world. It not just limited", Medika said told DJ Reuben on Luv FM in Kumasi.
