One person has been reported dead in a fire outbreak in Kronum in the Ashanti Region.
The one person reported dead is the 65-year-old man whose house was burnt.
The fire which started on the evening of Monday, 10th January 2022 destroyed nine furnished rooms in the building.
Some occupants of the burnt house who were affected by the fire outbreak believe the fire might have started due to electrical faults.
The firefighters upon their arrival at the scene took about an hour to put down the fire.
The body of the deceased Kwadkwo Yeboah was found lifeless in one of the rooms that were affected by the fire.
According to our sources, the deceased man was bedridden and couldn't escape during the fire.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital mortuary.
